 I photographed Hugo ’s Bar Mitzvah at the Cafe Deco at the peak two weeks ago. What a great party , and It looked like everyone was having a blast. Lots of surprise, performance, and emotion, can’t imagine how much time Hugo ’s mother Belinda has spent preparing the party. Here are the photos of this awesome party! Congratulations Hugo !!! I was enjoying the “holiday” in last few weeks and very lazy updating the blog. with only a few photo sessions in august, I had more free time to clean up the photo editing and album backlogs. Apart from it, really enjoyed the extra time I had with shulin. We went to different playgroups (little gym, ballet junior …. …) or went to swimming everyday – this was such a wonderful time (you can see some photos and video on my facebook fans page) !!!! Before writing this blog, I was packing my equipments to prepare the photo session tomorrow – the bar mitzvah party of hugo. This is the kick-off of the peak season and my schedule was fully packed before the Chinese new year. I am going to shoot the bar mitzvah of Hugo end of this month, and had the chance to shoot some portraits of him last Friday. Love this session, lots of fun. Skateboarding, football, rugby … … what a sporty boy !!!! Look forward to the bar mitzvah party this month !!!!  I was asked by a lot of other clients that, other than weddings, what other jobs will I take? I ‘d say over 95% of my job are all weddings related, I seldom do any portrait, company opening, birthday party, commercial, fashion, etc… … I just found them too boring for me. So what about the last 5% ? Bar mitzvah is definitely my favorite photo event, especially the celebration party!!!! These people just know how to party, there is always so much fun taking photo for them. And the party for Leo didn’t disappoint us, I took photo of his brother Enzo last year and felt so happy to see their family again. theme of the night: Hollywood and Oscar event management: Berge Studio venue: JCC HK Leo – the super STAR of the night !!!!  what a great party !!! I always love taking photo of of bar mitzvah party, there is always something new and interesting. This ’s not an exception for Jeremy ’s party. The theme of the party is "Jeremy Resort and Casino", of course, we had a lot of gambling games and dancing !!!! date: 16 march, 2008 venue: JCC HK event management: click marketing the jeremy notes !!  This month is a month of Bar Mitzvah for me, I have a total of five bar mitzvah ceremonies and parties to shoot. The first one is James ’s on last Sunday. I am so happy to see Fiona ’s family again, I love them so much !!! The theme of the evening was "Fire and Crystal", the whole ballroom of AMC was partitioned into two areas – "Fire" and "Crystal". When I asked Fiona who is the decoration company, I was so surprised when she told me that she didn’t hire any decoration or event company and she designed all by herself — amazing !!!!! the celebration — James and Father dancing on the table !!!! So excited !!!! It was lucky that I could capture this pic — once they started to do that, you ‘d be in the middle of the crowd and you couldn’t move at all. [......] Continue reading … … it ’s bar mitzvah month — james  2008 is going to be a very busy year, the outlook is very good with over 70 wedding, engagement and Bar Mitzvah shootings already booked. Hai and Minh was the 1st engagement session I did in Jan. They are from Vietnam and they chose Hong Kong to take their engagement photos. So we just communicated through lots of emails and didn’t meet each other until 3 days before the shooting. The first second I met them in a cafe, oh my goodness, they ‘re such as a stylish and gorgeous couple that I was so excited to be their photographer. Thanks Nancy for helping me for the make up and hair style. If you ‘re looking for contemporary make-up service and fashion look, I highly recommend Nancy to you. Wow !!!!  Just came back from Shek O. Today I shot the portrait of James, for his bar mitzvah in March. I shot the bar mitzvah of Robert (James ’s brother) in 2006 and I have been waiting for James ’s turn for a long long time. As James is a rugby lover, we planned to take photos of him playing it on the beach. Look forward to the part II (the party) in March !!!! he looks great, doesn’t he? |
