I-do (wedding day) |

I can still remember the first time I met Rita and Seto back in May 2009. At that time, I didn’t have a studio yet and I usually met my clients in coffee shop. It was a Friday night, it was so crowded everywhere. As we didn’t find a good cafe, so we finally met each other inside karaoke!!!!! yes, meeting a client inside karaoke !!!!!!!
what even worse, my 17″ laptop broken down just before the meeting and the only thing I could bring was a 13″ old laptop. there was not much I could show from this old laptop and you can imagine how embarrassing and unprofessional it was.
some photographer love to do big and grand wedding, some love to do oversea job, … … … for me, nothing better and important than having clients that are totally trust me and love my work.

I-do (wedding day),
photo shooting technique |

love the post title – it means I got something new in the photos again.
You may notice there are several wedding locations/venues got very very popular among my clients.
for reception venue, AMC, four seasons, peninsula, island shangri la and repulse bay are the most popular
for church, bethanie chapel, St. Margaret church – almost go there once every week during the peak season.
Shooting at the same location every week is a good and bad thing – you get very familiar with the places, but easily get bored at the same time. To avoid getting bored, I ‘ll try my best to get a few new and creative shots every time, if I can get 2-3 new shots on the day, then I am satisfied, and don’t have pressure at all for the rest of the day. 2-3 new shots may sound too less for you, but please remember, we may have over [......]

I-do (wedding day) |

just survived from the crazy busy October. Sorry for not updating the blog as frequently as I planned and make some of my clients worry (about their photos)
the wedding of purdy and hok pui ( a referral from my previous client tsui kit) was in Sept. This is my first time to have the bridal pickup game on the beach (and at the noon time). It ‘s still very hot in Sept (in fact, we had the “very hot warning” from the HK Observatory)!!! How hot is it? Don’t miss to see the “behind the scene” video below.
ceremony and reception: four seasons hotel hong kong
the awesome hok pui and his team of crazy groomsmen !!! We found this construction site near purdy ’s home – and thank everyone for making this photo work. The title of this photo “getting ready to fight with the bridesmaids”
the gorgeous purdy
