Posting date: October 22nd, 2008 | Category: I-do (wedding day) | - (Comments are closed)  So busy in last two months … … I tried to update the blog with every wedding and e-sessions I had, but I found it very difficult with the busy schedule … … Other than shooting, I spend most of the time on retouching works and hope to finish the work on time for each client.
Just a few updates:
1) because of the busy schedule, I can’t meet any new client before Dec, I am giving priority to my existing client first
2) Shulin is growing very fast, I even found that she can be looked and behaved a little different if I didn’t see her much after having2-3 days’ shooting. I have already scheduled a photo session with Claudia (playground photography) end of Nov to take photo of Shulin and me. So looking forward to it.
3) there are so many interesting shootings in last few weeks, a lot of new concept [......]

Posting date: October 3rd, 2008 | Category: engagement (pre-wedding) | - (Comments are closed)  since a few years ago, there was a trend of couple in Hong Kong going to Taiwan to have their pre-wedding photos. I believe people got bored with the Taiwanese style in last two years, and people started to go further and further away – not only China, Japan, SE Asia, going to Europe (even East Europe) is not uncommon nowadays.
I can imagine going a place in Europe is so romantic, no one knows you, having a long holiday, no phone call, forget all about your daily business – these are all very critical for having a very memorable pre-wedding photo session.
Having said that, I think there are still many interesting locations in Hong Kong that are very good for photo session, and most importantly, location is not an major consideration for my style of photography. When I meet my clients, I always tell them that the people inside a [......]

Posting date: June 30th, 2008 | Category: I-do (wedding day) | - (Comments are closed)  I was very excited last two days as I resumed to work last weekend after my long vacation and I had shoot two weddings. The weather was very bad with rain (heavy !!) most of the time, but the brides ‘re gorgeous and the little rain drops didn’t affect at all. Before the weddings, it was quite busy last week preparing and cleaning all the equipments. It was a mess as I didn’t do any shooting last two months, it took me some time to figure out where I did put all the stuff … …

Posting date: June 3rd, 2008 | Category: baby, personal | - (Comments are closed)  today is the birthday (two weeks old) of my baby girl. There ‘re so many new (and bad) things happened last two week … ….
First, I was so glad that I decided to take a long vacation from April to June — the look of the baby kept changing everyday, you just can’t afford not seeing her for just one day. And there ‘re so many "FIRST TIME" for me — first time to bath the baby (it was real exciting and challenging !!! ), to change the diaper, to feed the baby, to hold her in my arms. The baby just needs so much attention from you, apart from sleeping, she will start crying if you don’t hold her in your arms or leave her alone.
I also started to understand the love of a mother, there is so much sacrifice (and pain) for Xandra the few days [......]

Posting date: March 1st, 2008 | Category: engagement (pre-wedding) | - (Comments are closed)  I had so much fun to shoot the engagement session of candy and clifford (this was done on 20 Nov 2007) . They are the kind of couple that I don’t need to give any guideline or instruction for shooting –they just never stop running, dancing, playing and laughing in front of my camera.
I am already looking forward to their wedding at clearwater bay in Nov 08 !!!!!!!
