 “I ‘ll love you more and more everyday”, said charles. simple but beautiful words. ceremony and reception: Intercontinental Hotel Hong Kong my fav bridal portrait of the day, taken at spoon of intercontinental  still remember vivian and roger – the couple who made me cry. many people asked me why I cried ( after shooting hundreds of wedding in last few years), I would say I was really moved by what roger said to his father at the end of the two-days wedding. I was so close to them and could hear what he say, and that ’s what really made me cry. take a look at the following slideshow, not only me, everyone cried … …. after seeing the sentimental side of the wedding, the day was also full of fun and surprises. roger prepared a surprise to vivian before the first dance, in roger ‘s introduction video, he said ” Hi everyone, I am roger, 26, I am a teacher …. …. and I don’t know dancing …. …” What surprised everyone was that roger prepared a hip hop dance performance for vivian. No one knew [......] Continue reading … … you made me cry – part ii  Bethanie – a very popular location for wedding. During peak season, we could go there 3 or 4 times a month. However, I still love this place a lot. 1) it is really a beautiful place, and has lots of photo opportunity both inside and outdoor 2) compared to to other catholic church, we can have more time and flexibility. Recently, I had a very very bad experience at the Catholic Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception – it was a rainy day and it rained so bad after the ceremony. Even thought there is no other wedding or event after my clients ‘ ceremony, we ‘re all forced to go outside … 3) It is not uncommon to have wedding after wedding for other catholic church. 4) If you have time, you can have a very nice cocktail at the studio at the roof (you can take a look at andrea and ken [......] Continue reading … … I love bethanie  love this wedding, especially the ceremony.  iris and sunny ‘s wedding marked the finish of October – a very very busy month, lots of wedding and pre-wedding sessions … … Iris and Sunny already married in Guam a few day ago, so the day should be very relax … … however, I was requested to arrive at the hotel at 7:00am in the morning. On arrival at the hotel, I asked “Iris, why do you have to start so early? As you can see from the photos and video below, both Joyce and Wilson have big families and big group of friends celebrating with them … …. the day was full of laughter and tears. date: 13 sept 2008 love this moment. You can imagine that Joyce couldn’t stop crying … … same day video edit Continue reading … … mid-autumn festival wedding  I feel very sorry that I didn’t blogged andrea and ken ’s wedding for a long time. Every time I talked to audrea on email and phone, she was so eager to see her photos here (even after she got all the photos already … …) Last few months were busy time for me, taking care of my baby as well as clearing all the outstanding jobs before holiday (April – June) takes up all of my time. I am very happy now that all the outstanding are cleared and I am working on weddings after my holiday and some outstanding albums. date: 28 March, 2008 Happy couple & happy parents during the ceremony video filming and editing: Ken Wong of simon.the.photo  I met several clients recently, and they all asked me the same question — "Will you get bored when you have 2-3 weddings every week to shoot". I am a lucky wedding photographer, most of my wedding couples ‘re very nice and they all treated me as friends or guest in their wedding. And most important, on the wedding day, whenever I showed the pic on the camera LCD to them and I saw they loved my photos, I felt very excited and filled with energy. Date: Oct 14Venue: Intercontinental Hotel Hong Kong Yukiko and Duncan ’s love story is amazing. During a business trip to Japan, Duncan met Yukiko in a hair salon and he believed she is the one of his life immediately. Since then, Duncan always love to go to Japan to have his hair cut (this is a joke made by his friends) |
