I seldom do commercial shooting as I am not keen on working with models. I love to work with ‘real people’ in weddings and always find lots of joy in weddings.
But when I know my friend gracy of JustGracy was going to have a new series of advertisement and portfolio, I don’t have any hesitation to be part of this project.
Before the shooting, we discuss on the style and both of us like to have a clean and simple style of big head shots. It is always a challenge to do big head shots as it requires more detailed lighting setup, but I like the results a lot.
We had lots of fun on the day, with 3 models, 3 makeup artists, with lots of different lighting setups. Non-stop shooting from 1100-1900, awesome!!!
Here are some of fav shots of the day, and any comment is welcome.

I always believe wedding photography is one of the most meaningful photography, compared to, say, fashion, interior, commercial, model or other photography work …. …. While you ‘ll look at your wedding photos 10 or 20 years later, remind you all the happy moments – will you look at a fashion or commercial photo produced 10 years ago? Probably not, no matter how great it is
And good wedding photos help people crystallize their memories on the happiest day of their lives, all the love, smile, tears are recorded.
Hi Stef, thanks for inviting me as your wedding photographer.

The workshop finished yesterday and I went to Athens & stayed here for 3 days, just to relax. In last few days, we had over 12 hrs of workshop everyday — going out shooting, learning photo skill, photoshop skill, critics session, discussing of business. Someone asked me what I learned … … I believe that the most important thing I learned is more understanding of my weakness, & what I am not good at.
During the critics session, every photographer submitted a few photos to Yervant to have his comment. He said my photos are good, & the brides are going to love them. However, as a professional photographer, he could point out all bad things about the photos — the light is not correct, the pose of the bride is not good. If I enter those photos into a competition, it is straight "OUT" for sure.
This is very useful, makes me step [......]

When I first met Emily 1 year ago, I already knew her wedding was going to be wonderful and different. Emily is the kind of bride who looks into every single details of the wedding & know exactly what she wants. She doesn’t like the standard products from those "wedding factories", and a big wedding in big hotel is not something she ’s looking for.
the wedding was at Helena May on Jan 20, 2007. Emily had put a lot of effort into every single details of the wedding.

I was invited by Harbour Plaza Resort City to take some snapshot photos for their Wedding Expo on March 5, 2006.
There are over 150 guests in the expo and I had chance to take some photos of super model "Vanessa Yeung"
