virginia and daniel, one of my fav wedding last season. Again, I shot alone on the day without 2nd photographer, which gave me more freedom of the day. Having said that, don’t get me wrong, even though I love working alone, every wedding is unique and some weddings definitely require 2nd photographer for handling all the formal shots requests.

My fav shot of the day. It’s a first dance photo, I always tell my clients that dance photos are the most difficult shots to take on a wedding day. Lighting is always very dim if not completely darkness, even there are spot lights at the venue, they are usually unpredictable in terms of ligh intensity, color, or how the hotel staff operates them. Posting date: February 28th, 2011 | Category: I-do (wedding day) |  If my memory is right, I never put a photo only seeing the back of the bride as the 1st photo of a blog post. The reason I love this photo was the expression of the bridesmaids that really reflected the joy of the wedding day. I always find difficult to take photo of bridesmaids like this as most of the bridesmaids are very sensitive to camera and some of them are even not willing to be included in all pictures.
Lucky that I was the only photographer for grace and bobby ’s wedding, no 2nd photographer, no video. By shooting alone and being unobtrusive, uninterrupted and staying focus, it was easier for me to take candid and natural shot like this.

Posting date: February 22nd, 2010 | Category: I-do (wedding day) |  No matter how much you have planned, there are always surprises on a wedding day. I ‘ve seen lots of bride got upset and ruin the mood and her own wedding.
Recently I got an email from a bride, she said she got upset on the day because of all the hassles – not enough sleep, rushing schedule, the arguing wedding party … … My respond is, from my experience, there is no perfect wedding, no matter how much you have prepared. And that ‘s all these “little surprises” that make your wedding memorable and unique.
I love the wedding of clara and thomas a lot. It ‘s so relaxing on the day, not only they separated the wedding into two days, but they are indeed very relaxing, nice, easy going couple.
Something really terrible happened on the day. They planned to have the wedding ceremony at 3:30 pm. Guess what? the celebrant [......]

Here is the 2nd series of my team introduction,
and I ‘d like all of you to meet Siu B.
Siu B has been working for me for last two years and he is mainly responsible for preparing same day photo slideshow for me. I still remembered when he first started, he knew NOTHING about the slideshow software, photo editing, and didn’t know how to operate a camera neither… … After two years ‘ training, he can now prepare a slideshow ALL BY HIMSELF –— from photo selection, photo editing, creating the slideshow, to synchronize it with the music — and all can be done within 2-3 hours !!!!!
Not only is he good at slideshow, but now he is a good photographer as well. He can help me to take photos in some of the weddings, especially during the [......]

Posting date: January 7th, 2009 | Category: I-do (wedding day) |  I did 3 weddings at repulse bay in last wedding season. Natalie and Ben ‘s wedding is the last one. Always love wedding there, the location, the service and food ‘re all perfect !!!!
Even though I was the only ONE (and only one) photographer of the wedding, I didn’t need to do any formal / group /posing shot at all, and I could walk around and have the freedom to take all the shots I like. Feel so good of it !!!!

Posting date: December 15th, 2008 | Category: I-do (wedding day), wedding photographers |  a very beautiful wedding in Oct. Not only we had beautiful bride, beautiful (and nice) bridesmaids, but it was so nice to see everyone dressed beautifully as well.
I had made a small (or big ) mistake that I finally couldn’t take photo during the reception at night. When I was worrying about this, I was so happy that ann choi could offer to help me in this wedding (in fact, she had to postpone another family portrait session to help me)
I haven known ann for over a year, she is always on my recommendation list when people asks me for photographer referral. A real PJ (photojournalistic) style and crazy wedding photographer like me, and it is always a fun to work with her. You can see Ann ’s photo for harriet and jim here

And got a great news from her, she is going to have a new member in her family later this year !!!!! Congratulations !!!!!!!
