Sylvia is such a nice, pretty and intelligent lady, both polly, canly and I love her very much. Pity that I can’t be your photographer on your big day, which I really wish I can.
Here is the sneak peek of the e-session we did last week.
locations: University of Hong Kong (HKU), Bel-Air Club House, Cyberport
makeup artist: polly of faces
there are some many nice locations at the Bel-Air club house.

love the pattern of the hand rail very much. Thanks for giving me the time to create this shot ( I had to move around a lot to find the best pattern)

I believe every wedding photographer ‘d love to capture some new images in every single wedding — so do I.
If you ‘re a frequent reader of this blog, you may expect me to give you surprise and post some new images in every wedding. However, the fact is — it is very difficult to do that. First, as a paid and professional wedding photographer, I have to provide very consistent work to my clients. They confirm me as their wedding photographer because they love the previous works I showed to them, so I can’t give them too much surprise just because I like to create some new images to please myself. Second, it can put too much pressure on myself if I always look for new images on a wedding day. Third, I have a lot of new concepts in my mind, however, in order to get this images, [......]

it rained most of the time in last few weeks, several photo sessions ‘re postponed. When I talked to Ben last week, he told me that he would go ahead the photo session on last Monday (14 July) no matter it rained or not. What a great man !!! So what happened — instead of having a rainy day, we had the hottest and sunny photo session. It was so hot that Ben almost got sunstroke when we finish the first stop at the Wetland Park.

my fav of the day. I found this red wall inside the visitor center.
look at Ben, he ’s not holding a mobile. He almost got a sunstroke after one hour outdoor shooting. He ’s holding an ice pack to cool himself down

So happy to be the wedding photographer of Katherine and Andy. Since they had decided to have an engagement session, we tried to work out a day in last dec / jan, however, both of us ‘re so busy that we couldn’t find a day until after Chinese New Year, and that ’s why this shooting was done on the 4th day of Chinese New year.
Hi Kat and Andy, you ‘re my 1st client in the year of rat and look forward to your wedding in Nov !!!

I found that HKU is getting more and more popular for my clients. I had taken photos at this building several times, but I got a new idea this time. Instead of taking photo at the long staircase behind, I was attracted by the shadow [......]

the e-session of Joey and Harvey was shot early August. We had very unstable weather — hot, humid, and thunderstorm … … Having said that, they are a wonderful couple and the weather didn’t affect their mood at all.
This picture was taken at Shek O after dinner. We ‘re about to leave, but I saw a big wall and thought of trying something different there. I asked them to dance and used a flash to create the shadow on the wall.
Iris and Ming were married on Feb 2 at the Langham Place Hotel and the wedding was wonderful! They ‘re so relax in front of the camera, so I knew that I was going to have wonderful shots on their wedding day and I was not disappointed!

Yesterday, we had the workshop started. I was so excited to meet Yervant in person. There are 25 other wedding photographers from all over the world to attend this workshop. It is great meeting & sharing with them – some of them have experience over 20 years. It is so interesting to learn that some of them had very different background before they became a wedding photographer, like, IT consultant from Gartner, marketing staff from a soccer team, fashion photographer, commercial photographer, and even a flight pilot.
Yervant is such great guy, not only because of his great photos, but also his contribution to the wedding photographer industry. He is so willing to share his knowledge, he just doesn’t hide anything. And he tries to raise the standard and makes wedding photographer not only equal, but even better than fashion or other commercial photographers.
We did shooting from 4:00pm till 7:30 pm. We [......]
