 After shooting e-sessions in so many rainy days, we finally got a beautiful sunny day for boey and andrew. The weather was so good, especially in the morning. With such beautiful weather, most of the photos ‘re shot using available light only this time. location: Stanley Market, Tai Tam reservoir, Shek O, Central one of my fav of the day – taken at the Tai Tam reservoir love this shot so much, very beautiful sunlight from the back at the top of the world !!!  this is another challenging photo session everything was in a rush this time, when jojo and afred confirmed their booking, it was only three months left before their wedding day in early July next month. And we just did the engagment shoot last month. As we didn’t have much time left, we couldn’t postpone the shooting even though the weather forecast was very very bad (with thunderstorm ). It was good that it didn’t rain at all when we started soho central in the morning. Our original 2nd location was Shek O. When we arrived, the weather was still looking good. However, the very second we finished our lunch, jojo had her costum change and I pressed the camera shutter, it started pouring !!!!! And we had to wait and wait in car, yet it didn’t look like the weather ‘d get better. However, after this quick answer. I am thinking if I had any other bride wearing glasses in their photo session – the answer is NO. I didn’t do too many oversea photo sessions in last two years. There are several reasons behind. First, looking at my working schedule and my family life, it is almost impossible to be away from home town for anything over 3-4 days. In addition, I hate flying home and then having to shoot a wedding the day after. there are so many accidents that can happen and I really don’t like taking the risk of it. Then, I can’t work out the justification of the time and effort needed for oversea assignment. When I stay in Hong Kong, I can shoot 3-4 weddings/pre-weddings a week, and I can still work on post-processing and albums and meet clients for the rest of the time (not to mention, have the time to play with shulin as well), so why spend the extra time on travelling for shooting just [......] Continue reading … … nice couple from shanghai  day and night, how time flies … …. I have been expecting to be the wedding photographer of lina for a long long time … … In fact, it is over xx years !!!!!! (Oh, I can’t tell how many years exactly) I knew lina when she was a secondary school student and I was her bible teacher in church at that time. Look at the dress, can you believe that we had a natural wind in the pic ?? our 1st location: HKU  a set of happy and warm photos. I love the idea that they preferred to have the night shoot at home instead of going to those popular places. What a great idea, especially during the summer time !!!! We could have a can of coke during the shooting. locations: Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), Shek O, Home joey, stephen and their babies. they are music players. Lovely !!!  sometimes I am amazed how people get to know me. I don’t have a studio or office, other than those two listings on yahoo and google search engine, I don’t do any print advertisement. I always wonder if I can still do any business if there is no internet … … Michelle and Tony didn’t have any plan for pre-wedding photo before their wedding day. The plan didn’t change until they went to the hotel last year for site visit and, so happened my other clients (Karen and William) were playing their pre-wedding photo slideshow in the ballroom. Felt so glad that Michelle and Tony love my photos and get my name finally from Karen and William via the hotel staff. That ‘s how we get to know each other, amazing, isn’t it ?? Whenever I get a great photo, always love to show it to my client on the camera lcd. Love to see their reaction and feel encouraged if they love the photo. This is not an exception for terry and stephen. But what made the day different was, when I showed the LCD to terry, she always loved to say “I love you simon, I love you canly” – wow, that made us so happy on the day!!!!!
