 After shooting e-sessions in so many rainy days, we finally got a beautiful sunny day for boey and andrew. The weather was so good, especially in the morning. With such beautiful weather, most of the photos ‘re shot using available light only this time. location: Stanley Market, Tai Tam reservoir, Shek O, Central one of my fav of the day – taken at the Tai Tam reservoir love this shot so much, very beautiful sunlight from the back at the top of the world !!!  No matter how much you have planned, there are always surprises on a wedding day. I ‘ve seen lots of bride got upset and ruin the mood and her own wedding. Recently I got an email from a bride, she said she got upset on the day because of all the hassles – not enough sleep, rushing schedule, the arguing wedding party … … My respond is, from my experience, there is no perfect wedding, no matter how much you have prepared. And that ‘s all these “little surprises” that make your wedding memorable and unique. I love the wedding of clara and thomas a lot. It ‘s so relaxing on the day, not only they separated the wedding into two days, but they are indeed very relaxing, nice, easy going couple. Something really terrible happened on the day. After several raining e-sessions in last season, I found that there are so many photo opportunities during raining. Of course, I couldn’t make it without a client willing to take photo under rain. Special thanks to donna and tony, especially it rained so bad at night!!! I can still remember - the lower part of donna ‘s dress got completely wet, the raindrops on all our faces, my assistant Canly holding the flash and listening to my shouting on the street. But we had a blast and the resulting photos are awesome !!!!!! Three umbrellas, seven crazy persons. The flower pattern, the blue light, the yellow shopping windows light, the reflection on the ground, the raindrops, and [......] Continue reading … … ALERT ALERT !! it ‘s raining again – donna and tony  Since I put up the photo shot under rain in the post of e-session of gloria and vico, I got a lot of positive feedbacks from friends and clients. I couldn’t believe I got another chance so soon to shoot in rain again. It is the e-session of connie and ah nam. Since we started the night shooting in Central, it rained and didn’t seem to stop. Instead of keep on waiting, I discussed with them the idea to shoot under the rain. Thanks for their trust and we could manage to get the following wonderful shots. locations: HKU, stanley market, military cemetery, central Let’s push to the extreme. Ah nam did great !!!! the rain didn’t stop, let ‘s do some crazy shots !  love this photos session. Victor brought me to the Hong Kong Museum of Coastal Defence – I have heard this place before, but never got a chance to get there. I found this is an very interesting place – a lot of stone caves and tunnels, so lots of opportunity to play with the light. locations: Hong Kong Museum of Coastal Defence, stanley military cemetery, Stanley Market my fav of the day. you can see the original version (without retouch) at here gigi, thanks for helping me to get this shot. Love it.  Though fiona loves the location of Student Hall of HKU so much, neither ben nor she studied in HKU before. you can imagine it is very difficult for them to go inside to take wedding photo location: HKU and the U-hall, Stanley Market, Central the winding stair that she loves a lot BTW, Canly helped me to take some behind the scene videos on the day, I have put them onto my facebook fans page, Don’t forget to become my fans if you haven’t joined yet.  this is an e-session I done early this year. HI Yann and Alex, see you again on your wedding day tmr !!!! locations: University of Hong Kong (HKU), Stanley Market, Central never thought that we could have such a good light at this location inside HKU university student union – this is where yann and alex met each other.  a quick update: I was very sick and the cough was very bad these two days. I got 5 clients meeting yesterday, and felt very sorry that I kept coughing most of the time, and really couldn’t speak too much. Thanks for all the clients’ forgiveness (Verena, Katherine, Eva, Michelle, Bosco). One more shooting on coming Friday before the Chinese New Year holiday, hope can get well soon. Another nice session in Oct that I ‘d like to share with you. Beautiful bride, nice couple – nothing can be better. We started the day at Park Island, this is my 2nd time to have shooting here.
