 After shooting e-sessions in so many rainy days, we finally got a beautiful sunny day for boey and andrew. The weather was so good, especially in the morning. With such beautiful weather, most of the photos ‘re shot using available light only this time. location: Stanley Market, Tai Tam reservoir, Shek O, Central one of my fav of the day – taken at the Tai Tam reservoir love this shot so much, very beautiful sunlight from the back at the top of the world !!!  yes, it ’s raining again during the e-session of donna and tony. After several raining e-sessions in last season, I found that there are so many photo opportunities during raining. Of course, I couldn’t make it without a client willing to take photo under rain. Special thanks to donna and tony, especially it rained so bad at night!!! I can still remember - the lower part of donna ’s dress got completely wet, the raindrops on all our faces, my assistant Canly holding the flash and listening to my shouting on the street. But we had a blast and the resulting photos are awesome !!!!!! Three umbrellas, seven crazy persons. The flower pattern, the blue light, the yellow shopping windows light, the reflection on the ground, the raindrops, and [......] Continue reading … … ALERT ALERT !! it ’s raining again – donna and tony  So busy in last two months … … I tried to update the blog with every wedding and e-sessions I had, but I found it very difficult with the busy schedule … … Other than shooting, I spend most of the time on retouching works and hope to finish the work on time for each client. Just a few updates: 1) because of the busy schedule, I can’t meet any new client before Dec, I am giving priority to my existing client first 2) Shulin is growing very fast, I even found that she can be looked and behaved a little different if I didn’t see her much after having2-3 days’ shooting. I have already scheduled a photo session with Claudia (playground photography) end of Nov to take photo of Shulin and me. So looking forward to it. 3) there are so many interesting shootings in last few weeks, a lot of new concept [......] Continue reading … … wedding of irene and alexis (day one)  When I first met Irene and Peter, I thought they ‘re a quiet couple, but I was wrong. They ‘re so out going and ready for anything that ‘re new and exciting to them. They purposed to me that they ‘d like to take some photos on the Star Ferry — oh my goodness. if you follow my blog, you may notice that I seldom take photos at crowded locations, I just don’t get used to it. date: 15 April, 2008 at the pier — I used a very slow shutter to capture the motion of the passers-by. As I didn’t bring a tripod, I was lying on the ground with my camera to get a sharp picture wow !!! on the star ferry, a very different experience for me  the e-session of Joey and Harvey was shot early August. We had very unstable weather — hot, humid, and thunderstorm … … Having said that, they are a wonderful couple and the weather didn’t affect their mood at all. This picture was taken at Shek O after dinner. We ‘re about to leave, but I saw a big wall and thought of trying something different there. I asked them to dance and used a flash to create the shadow on the wall.  What a wonderful day !! When I had the pre-meeting with Zoe & Kenneth one month ago, we believed it ’s going to be a very hot day when we took the engagement photos on last Friday (Sept 22). It turned out that the weather was so nice and it was around 24-25 degree. We had a lot of fun and they did a great job whole day. Zoe & Kenneth are going to tie the knot on Oct 28 at Harbour Plaza Hong Kong and I am already looking forward to their wedding. Special moment |
