At that time, I didn’t have a studio yet and I usually met my clients in coffee shop. It was a Friday night, it was so crowded everywhere. As we didn’t find a good cafe, so we finally met each other inside karaoke!!!!! yes, meeting a client inside karaoke !!!!!!!
what even worse, my 17″ laptop broken down just before the meeting and the only thing I could bring was a 13″ old laptop. there was not much I could show from this old laptop and you can imagine how embarrassing and unprofessional it was.
some photographer love to do big and grand wedding, some love to do oversea job, … … … for me, nothing better and important than having clients that are totally trust me and love my work.

Up to today, she is still the one and only one bride wearing glasses in front of my camera.
After posting her pre-wedding photos here, I got lots of good feedback from readers and couldn’t imagine how many people appreciated cordelia ‘s character.

I am still having a huge backlog (I guess , over 60 weddings and preweddings) that I haven’t written up here because of my busy schedule in last few months.

Most of the girl would dream – one day she walks into the hotel ballroom in their beautiful wedding gown, in front of all their friends and families. However, virginia and Jerome liked to have something special, that they finally decided to wear the very tranditional chinese dress at the start of the banquet at four seasons hotel. Really Cool !!!

Just 5 min before the wedding ceremony to be started, they suddenly found that they left the wedding rings in hotel, and no way they could manage to get it back on time … ….
At that time, I was really worrying myself and thought they ‘re going to be very very upset and might start to blame others. Didn’t dare to say anything but keep silence (BTW, should I keep on shooting photos if they start arguing, look very upset … … wedding photojournalism ??? ) To my surprise, just within 1 min, they smiled again and forgot about it completely, looked like nothing happened. From my experience, after the very busy season from Sept – Dec, I will start to get sick in Jan. This was the case in last two years. But it happened earlier this year, both Canly and I got sick since early dec. It was really tough as all wedding jobs ‘re very demanding and we had to work long hours.
When I started to get well last week and thought that the sickness was over, my daughter Shulin got inflected (from playgroup I believed), and started to vomit since last wed. And after that, my whole family got inflected and we all had vomit and diarrhea since last Thu and Fri. Yes, I had diarrhea, a disaster for a wedding photographer (and I had wedding jobs on last Thu, Sat and Sun).
