A very special day for queenie and sydney. it ’s also special for simon as well.
just the day before the shooting, the weather forecast was bad, thunderstorm was expected. I thought the session would be postponed, but out of my expectation, queenie told me they would keep going no matter what.
So what happened? The very second we got on the 7-seater van, it started pouring, and it ’s so bad that we couldn’t even get off the van any more. six persons in car, we kept discussing where we could go. They liked going to the peak, but I said there ’s no way I could take photo at the peak under the thunderstorm. Then Gracy suggested the Central pier, at least, we could hide under the pier ceiling … .. That ’s how we started the day …. ….
finally, I learned that the day was their 8th anniversary of [......]

back to the university time … … anthony joined a singing contest. The song he sang was “我願意” … … when he was on stage, the one he was thinking of was miranda, even thought they hadn’t started dating yet at that time.
So the song was so meaningful to him and he sang this song to miranda again on their wedding day.
ceremony: St. Teresa ‘s Church
reception: Sheraton Hong Kong Hotel

I have to say, anthony is really good at singing, and no wonder he finally won the singing contest in university
and he can play guitar as well !!!
lots of touching moments, don’t miss watching the video below

One of my fav session in Oct. Not only I get some stunning photos, but I have two stories to share with you as well.
Look at the first photo below – thanks everyone the effort to make this photo happened. We took this photo at the waterfall Mirror Pool near the Bride ‘s Pool “新娘潭”. It took us 15 min to walk (up and down) to get there. I ‘ll never do that for other bride, but Mel is an exception. She lives in the very northern part of new territories, in fact, her house can see Shenzhen and she walks to the Lo Wo train station every day. You can imagine that she is so used to walking around in the country side, and most of the locations that we picked are in the country side.

I feel very sorry that I didn’t blogged andrea and ken ’s wedding for a long time. Every time I talked to audrea on email and phone, she was so eager to see her photos here (even after she got all the photos already … …) Last few months were busy time for me, taking care of my baby as well as clearing all the outstanding jobs before holiday (April – June) takes up all of my time.
I am very happy now that all the outstanding are cleared and I am working on weddings after my holiday and some outstanding albums.

 Hi agnes and jim,
thanks for your trust on me in your wedding. there is a little story. About 1 month before the wedding, we arranged a pre-meeting to discuss the rundown. However, I forgot to mark it in my personal calendar and made them wait for me in the coffee shop whole night. At that time, I guessed they must be very worry about me … …
On the contrary, they ‘re very nice on their wedding day and showed a lot of trust on me. Big big thanks to you !!!!!

When I have meetings with my clients, a lot of the brides tell me their fiance doesn’t smile, doesn’t like wedding photo … …. Peter is an exception. He enjoyed the wedding so much, and he could sing a song, read a Chinese love poem to Anissa anytime, anyplace. His expectation of wedding photos was very high as well, they ‘re the first couple to prepare a 16-page powerpoint presentation for me, with a list of photos that they like. I can still remember, on the wedding day, I brought the presentation with me and reminded me the shots.
thanks anissa and peter for inviting me as your wedding photographer.

When I first met Irene and Peter, I thought they ‘re a quiet couple, but I was wrong. They ‘re so out going and ready for anything that ‘re new and exciting to them. They purposed to me that they ‘d like to take some photos on the Star Ferry — oh my goodness. if you follow my blog, you may notice that I seldom take photos at crowded locations, I just don’t get used to it.
date: 15 April, 2008
locations: Shing Mum Reservoir, Tai Tam Reservoir, Shek O, Star Ferry, IFC Mall, Legislative council

at the pier — I used a very slow shutter to capture the motion of the passers-by. As I didn’t bring a tripod, I was lying on the ground with my camera to get a sharp picture
wow !!! on the star ferry, a very different experience for me
