what even worse, my 17″ laptop broken down just before the meeting and the only thing I could bring was a 13″ old laptop. there was not much I could show from this old laptop and you can imagine how embarrassing and unprofessional it was.

Just a few days left for 2009 and I have 3 more weddings to go before finishing the awesome and wonderful 2009.

The happy thing is -  I don’t have wedding on the new year eve and Christmas eve this year, so finally I can have “count down” with my love ones – Xandra and Shulin. What am I going to do tonight? Honestly, Xandra and I don’t like crowded places at all (Is it a joke for a wedding photographer??), so a quiet night (no work, no email) with my family is the best for me.

“don’t worry, 9 out of 10 couple are shy in front of the camera. If you can relax, enjoy the day, enjoy the moment, it is not difficult for me to take good photo of you two.” say Simon. I believe all wedding photographers ‘d agree on that.

However, for nicole and allan, they are just the “1 out of 10”. Both Ken and I found that we can take good pic/video of them anytime, anywhere on the day. In fact, they are the first couple that eats up all my memory cards (a total of over 50GB CF card) in one day !!!!!

this is my 2nd time to have a wedding at the beautiful Bethanie Chapel. I love this location a lot, not only because of the beautiful architecture, and I love their booking system as well. When you book this venue, you have a 4 hour session, so you don’t need to rush before and after the ceremony.

we ‘re showing the same day photo slideshow. I always think if it is worth to do it, as it takes a lot of man power, equipments and resources to do a good same day slideshow. However, every time when I see the smiles and emotion from the couple, it definitely worth it

As we started taking photos very late (3:00pm) … … It was already 5:00 pm when Cynthia finished the make up and put on the dress. We didn’t have much time to take photos of Cynthia before she went to the reception, so I asked her to give me 5 minutes in the hotel room and take a few photos for her. My challenge was to bring out the best of a very gorgeous bride within the 5 min.

 Everyone was so excited during the count down !!!!

First , Matthew ‘ did the  proposal in a "摩天輪" when they ‘re traveling in UK. I think no girl can reject the proposal at this moment.
Then, the March – in slideshow is not a common one, they included their bungy-jump video. They did the jump TOGETHER & it was so meaningful to celebrate their wedding.  This was not the end, they gave a big surprise to all  their guests that they had their wedding  dance suddenly in their banquet, no one knew about it, not even their bridesmaids and best-men.  This was one of the best dance I had ever seen. They must have practiced it for a very long time.

Finally, Katherine gave a big surprise to Matthew. She prepared a 15 min video herself & included all the friends & families of Matthew in it & said "happy birthday" to him (yes, Dec 9 is Matthew ‘ birthday as well).

Hi Katherine & Matthew, both of you ‘re wonderful and so were your friends & families, the atmosphere ‘re so good throughout the whole day. There ‘re so many moments that filled up all my memory cards (I shot over 30 G of RAW files) !!!!!!

I am not kidding, this ’s one of the best First Dance I have ever seen
