The peak season is ON, can’t imagine that it starts so soon. Thanks for all your support, bookings from September to March are completely FULL now (no more new client can be accepted). I hope that I can keep updating this blog during this peak season, and share more and more great photos with all of you !!!!

As schedule in Sept and Oct is very tight, I ‘ll stop meeting new client during this period and priority will be given to all the existing client. Meeting will be resumed in Nov.

I shot connie and vincent ‘s wedding few weeks ago. The weather was so hot outside and we stayed inside the hotel most of the time. Having said that, peninsula is such a nice hotel that we ‘re never short of beautiful and interesting locations.

These two photos ‘re taken after the finish of the banquet. Really love the first one, [......]

a happy wedding last Sat. I always found that I am so lucky that all my clients are so happy and friendly on their wedding day, and this is not an exception for vienna and tony. Not only they are fabulous, but also their families, wedding parties, friends and students as well (yes, vienna is a teacher, and lots of her students came to the ceremony to celebrate with them)

wedding of fiona and raymond

Fiona ‘s wedding was held at the "pearl on the peak" restaurant at the peak, the location gave you a very causal but warm style. This was my first time to be there and both services and food ‘re very good. The ceremony and reception finished at around 1600 and we still got plenty of time taking photos at the peak.

This was a big surprise, when we had the dinner in Central, Fiona told me that my face is very familiar to her. We found out that we met each other before when both of us worked in IT industry xxx (a secret)  years ago, and we had a lot of common friends in IT !!!!

Hi agnes and jim,

thanks for your trust on me in your wedding. there is a little story. About 1 month before the wedding, we arranged a pre-meeting to discuss the rundown. However, I forgot to mark it in my personal calendar and made them wait for me in the coffee shop whole night. At that time, I guessed they must be very worry about me … …

On the contrary, they ‘re very nice on their wedding day and showed a lot of trust on me. Big big thanks to you !!!!!

it is a destiny.

two people from two different worlds – a HK born half chinese half Korean/Japanese girl and a HK guy, like to see the future of themselves, so they join a Chinese face-reading class a few years ago, at where they met each other and fell in love.

date: 4 jan, 2008 ceremony and reception: Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong

my fav photo of the day. while I was taking a shot of the ballroom, it was so lucky that Nina was just walking back to the bridal room and made it more than just a ballroom shot. I tried a new concept here which was inspired by another great wedding photographer Matt Adcock

wedding of anissa and peter

When I have meetings with my clients, a lot of the brides tell me their fiance doesn’t smile, doesn’t like wedding photo … …. Peter is an exception. He enjoyed the wedding so much, and he could sing a song, read a Chinese love poem to Anissa anytime, anyplace. His expectation of wedding photos was very high as well, they ‘re the first couple to prepare a 16-page powerpoint presentation for me, with a list of photos that they like. I can still remember, on the wedding day, I brought the presentation with me and reminded me the shots.

thanks anissa and peter for inviting me as your wedding photographer.

date: 29 dec, 2007 ceremony: Yan Fook Church reception: Eaton Hotel

my fav of the day. After the ceremony, One shot and I brought Christine and Sam to the swimming pool for a 15 min portrait session. It ‘s just after sunset so we still got some warm light, I love the contrast of warm light on them and the cool blue color of the swimming pool
