Thanks Simon,
Both Esther and I think that, the most important thing is not what photos you have taken, but we did enjoy every good memories and moment on that e-session day. We won’t regret to chose you to be our engagement photographer and give us a memorable part of our wedding.
Regards,
Esther & Black
P.S.: BTW, we sent you an email to address which photos we selected for the album, did you receive it?

Hi Simon,
This is the first time I leave msg in you blog.
I know you because of DM, two years ago I saw DM’s photo give me a great impressive on wedding photo. So his photo gave me a great idea on Style of wedding photo.
Few months ago, the first time I saw you blog… you know I spent a whole evening here. What amazing Lighting idea that show in your photo. Every kind of different light source you also can observe in the environment and get it as a great photo. Although I try to learn from your photo… but lighting control is much more difficult than I expected.
Really thanks for you two’s photo to teach me a lot…. I just want to say thanks. And I love your degree of enjoyment in every wedding… especially the last photo in a lot album that you took with the couples and their friends. Really so happy.
Thanks a lot.

Hi Simon,
Thanks for your sharing of "Focus".
Sometime, I feel that no improvement in my photo. And I feel so sorry to my clients. As I want to get something special for each couples…. but… really disappointed me. I may not do so.
Did you have similar experience? How to you tackle with that period? (In case if you are free to share, as I know you must very busy. : )

I have similar experience before — it ’s a difficult process that we have to go through.
Remember clients hire you because they LOVE the photos that you had shown to them, so it isn’t wrong at all to repeat.
To get a balance of consistency and creativity, I just require myself to create 3-5 new photos/concepts on a day job, after that, I am satisfied and don’t feel guilty at all, this removes the pressure and let me enjoy the process. Afterall, if I have 10 shootings a month, I should have already tried or mastered 30-50 new concepts already, which is very good when looking at the results.
knowledge and experience are accumulated bit by bit, set a target, focus on it and you ‘ll make it finally.
