Katie Kirkpatrick Godwin, 21, decided to marry her best friend Nick Godwin, 23, who was in love with her since 11th grade. Katie died of cancer, 5 days after the wedding.

    It is a sad story, and surely made me think.
    I actually feel happy for the bride, Katie.  Although she passed away at a young age, yet she found her "true love", Nick.   Knowing that Katie was not going to live for a long time because of her illness, Nick still willing to marry Katie.  I am pleased to know that they got married before Katie lost her fight to cancer.  I am proud of them.   She looked beautiful.
    I work in a cancer hospital, part of my job is to plan radiation treatment for cancer patients….  I don’t have much contact with patients, but I do hear stories…..  thinking all the patients……  how many of them can be so positive?  God, please give them strength.  
    If I am told that I have only got 8 days to live…..  I will fly home (to HK) with my fiance and my sister, and we will have our time together with my family.
