I always talk to my client, it they need video service, I always prefer working with my video partner Ken. Because of my photojournalistic approach on a wedding day, it is very very difficult for me to work with someone not working in a photojournalistic way, and vice versa. From my observation, a lot of video providers on the market love to do lots of setup shots, it 's nothing wrong with them, we just see things in different ways and I prefer to the more uninterrupting approach. the ceremony of mavis and ying was at the atrium of island shangri la, a place that I love a lot. I always find the lighting here very beautiful yet very challenging. a scene setting shot. The challenge: No matter what position I was, I couldn't avoid this videoman popping out in the picture, my assistant canly had asked him to move aside for a few second, but he just ignored her ... ... if you plan to hire other video provider other than Ken, let me know and I can provide a list of preferred video partner to you. or at least, ask them not to wear a yellow t-shirt walking around in your wedding ceremony .. ... his yellow t-shirt is so eye catching that the only thing I can do is to remove the yellow color in post processing ......... makeup artist: Louisa (tel: 91941261) (my long long time friend) ceremony and reception: Atrium, Island Shangri-La a few of my fav "morning getting ready" shots here came the superstar Ying after my two daughters were born, I started to understand being a parent, the love between and a daughter and a father is very special and unique. Can't imagine one day (very very far away) I hold my daughter 's hand in church tea ceremony ... ... "ying, please take care of my daughter ar" what a beautiful make up table mavis has !!! before going back to isl, we planned to have some location shooting either at the hong kong park or hku. But I found out their home is very good for photo shooting, here are some of my fav. can you imagine it 's taken inside the kitchen ??? instead of going to hku or hk park, we finally decided just take photo down-stair on the street (somewhere near hopewell center). Again, as I mentioned before, lighting and people are more important in my photos, location is the least considering factor for me. the ceremony at the atrium, ISL congratulations !!!!
