HI Veron and Thomas,

thanks so much inviting me as your wedding photographer, you ‘re such a awesome couple and I had lots of fun with you. And thanks for keeping reading my blog, you ‘re always the the first few to leave comment here (even at 0300 or 0400 after mid night). I am already looking forward to your wedding day in Dec !!!!!

love this pic. I was shooting through two layers of windows,
which added a lot of texture into the picture

our 1st location – we walked from their apartment in Sheung Wan to Central, and kept taking photos in all the small streets and roads, there ‘re so much fun this way

this was taken at the doors of a cafe

an ordinary street in Sheung Wan with the fabulous veron and thomas

they’re full of energy the whole day !!!

2nd location – Hong Kong University — the more I take photos there, the more I love this location. There ‘re so many places with good available light

when we arrived at the beach, the weather was cloudy without any sunlight. However, it ’s still very “HOT” there

simon, you are welcome…we enjoyed reading your blog ever since we first started to look for our wedding photographer! and i’m writing the thesis for my master course, that’s why i always stay up so late!
thank you for giving us such a sweet memory!! it was freezing that day when we took the engagement photos (only 12 degrees)…i still remember some old ladies saying that I was crazy for not wearing a jacket, haha!! but when I look at the pics, i feel so warm…
I love that pic with a dark background too…well, the answer is…i will tell you guys when someone got it right!

I still remember how excited I was when veron told me that the photos were ready. I immediately ran to veron’s home after work. And, when we were browsing the photos that night, Veron and I just kept on saying that "呢張好靚啊", "呢張都靚", "呢張又好挸呀"… Some photos surprised me a lot as I was so "handsome"… haha…
Now, we need to stuggle how many photos should be put inside the coffee book… 130? 140? It’s so hard to make the decision….

Don’t worry, you have 40 pages already (remember we gave you 10 pages upgrade at our 200,000 th celebration? )

I love the photo on the beach… the rubbish bins were lining up so neatly which they didn’t look like rubbish bin at all~!! Simon, did you do any effect to the photo? it looks a bit ‘antique’… hahah~
and veron, i love the long train of your wedding gown… match so much with the HKU enviornment!
i guess the place for the last photo is…. veron’s home? since you said started off the photoshoot there???

Hi Kat,
yes. I did some effects on it to make it look more timeless. I don’t want to convert it to B/W to lose the "green line", so I just add a little brown tone/pattern to it.

I will convert a picture into B/W if

Very close! We actually took the pic in my bathroom! And the backgrond was the reflection of a glass door…my sister was amazed by this pic when Simon showed it to her after he took it!
