On 21 Oct, I had the pleasure of photographing Gwen and Ian ’s wedding at the Bethanie Chapel. Watching two people very much in love made the day very beautiful. This is my first time to shoot a wedding at Bethanie, it is a very nice location for wedding.

I met several clients recently, and they all asked me the same question — "Will you get bored when you have 2-3 weddings every week to shoot". I am a lucky wedding photographer, most of my wedding couples ‘re very nice and they all treated me as friends or guest in their wedding. And most important, on the wedding day, whenever I showed the pic on the camera LCD to them and I saw they loved my photos, I felt very excited and filled with energy.

Yukiko and Duncan ’s love story is amazing. During a business trip to Japan, Duncan met Yukiko in a hair salon and he believed she is the one of his life immediately. Since then, Duncan always love to go to Japan to have his hair cut (this is a joke made by his friends)

When I first met Sing Fung, I knew that he didn’t like the idea of wedding photos at all. To make things even worse, when we had the shooting on early Oct, we didn’t finish it (we got some bad traffic, when we arrived at the beach, it was completely dark already ). So we had to arrange a 2nd shoot early Nov.

Having said that, he was wonderful !!! Whenever I showed the pic to them on the camera LCD, Fiona always said why he smiled better than her, and he did enjoy the shooting very much.

At the end of the shooting, I couldn’t stop myself giving a big hug to him.

My fav of the day. Sylvia was changing into another dress and I was waiting outside the bridal room. Never see the beauty of this mirror until this time even though I have taken photos in Ritz Carlton several times, . The beautiful bride, the lamp, the mirror, the frame, the reflection, the pattern on the wall — there are so many elements in one picture - but they all worked very well together.

Tammy and Arnold were married on 6 Oct at St Margaret Church. They ‘re so great that I could see real emotions and reactions through my camera anytime, any place. 

After the ceremony, we went to the library of Island Shangri-La for a portrait session. On arrival, Tammy said she was very tired and I made a joke that Arnold should give a foot massage to her. When I said that, I never expect that they would do it !!! Out of my surprise, they liked the idea very much. The room was filled with laugh !!!
