love this photos session. Victor brought me to the Hong Kong Museum of Coastal Defence – I have heard this place before, but never got a chance to get there.
I found this is an very interesting place – a lot of stone caves and tunnels, so lots of opportunity to play with the light.

victor got a new roadster just before the photo session, sure, couldn’t stop take some nice shots with it
love this shot so much. When we finished shooting at the cemetery and drove back to the stanley market for changing dress. I found the color of the sky so beautiful, but it ‘s getting dark very very quick. Thanks Canly ‘s help putting up the off-camera flashes so quickly (one with CTO gel inside the car, and another one with CTB gel far at camera right)

I learned a new method to prepare sepia images these two months, happy to learn that you love it.

thanks. I believe this blog help pushing me to create more interesting images. I know that a lot of blog readers and other photographers here expect me to post some new images in every shooting. But, to be frank, this is getting more and more difficult to have new images in every shooting, and this also gives too much pressure to myself.
As a paid wedding photographer, we have to get a balance between stability and creativity. Clients book me because of the past weddings images that I showed to them, I cannot and should not create totally different images in their weddings.
To get balance, I just ask myself to get 5 new images on a shooting day, if I got it, then I am satisfied on that day. For the peak season, that means creating more than 100 new images in one month. it is already a very tough mission.
For creating new images, I have to say, it is not by chance, and not by basic instinct. I have to prepare and plan for it before the wedding day, keep reading magazine, browsing internet, watching movie to get inspiration and plan how to get similar images under the restricted conditions of a wedding day. That ‘s mean, I do have a few new images (or new technique) I target to create in my mind before I go to a wedding.
