I arrived at Santorini yesterday 1:00 pm after over 30 hrs of flight, transit & missing flight (yes, I missed a flight at Greece yesterday morning). After settle down, I went to the Fira area to have a 2-hour walk. I finally understood why a lot of my clients had their honeymoon here. The place is so quiet and romantic.
We had a welcome party last night. There are around 25 photographers from all over the world to participate. Very excited for the next few days.
I love cat and I miss my cat in Hong Kong

When I first met Emily 1 year ago, I already knew her wedding was going to be wonderful and different. Emily is the kind of bride who looks into every single details of the wedding & know exactly what she wants. She doesn’t like the standard products from those "wedding factories", and a big wedding in big hotel is not something she ’s looking for.
the wedding was at Helena May on Jan 20, 2007. Emily had put a lot of effort into every single details of the wedding.

Tomorrow I ‘ll leave for Santorini, Greece to attend the Dancing with Yervant wedding photographer workshop. I am so excited to meet Yervant in person and see him shooting in action.
3 years ago, I watched the "Master of Wedding Photographer" DVD, I was so surprised that wedding photography could be so different. When I saw Yervant in the DVD, he had so much fun shooting wedding and his images were stunning !!!! After that, I made up my mind to change myself from a corporate businessman to a full time wedding photographer.
After being a full time wedding photographer for 2 years, I believe it ’s time to learn something new. If possible, I ‘ll try to update the details of this workshop on my blog during the trip.
I ‘ll be back to Hong Kong on May 9. Please email me or send me SMS during that time.

Aimee & David ’s wedding was on 4 Feb at Shatin Baptist Church
I love the David ’s proposal story shared during the banquet. When Davide decided to marry Aimee, he didn’t have a normal proposal. The ’s what he did, for consecutive six months, he brought different kinds of snacks to Aimee in each month. In the 1st month, David always brought "fish biscuit" to Aimee, then "apple candy" in 2nd month, followed by "milk candy" in the 3 rd month. After that, David had "ice-cream", "lemon candy" & "yakult" in the 4th, 5th & 6th month respectively. At first, Aimee didn’t understand what he was doing & David didn’t explain to her.
Until at the end of 6th month, David asked Aimee if she knew the meaning behind.
Do you know the answer? Try to guess before clicking the following link for answer.

Candy & Vincent was on the 10th of Feb at the Chapel of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). I love to take photos here as I had my own wedding in this chapel in 2003.
It is not easy to take photo here as the Chapel is so big, I guess that it can hold over 1,500 people easily. You can take photos in the front, at the side, at the back of it & you can access the balcony as well. What makes it more difficult, I was the only one photographer in their wedding and I had to run all over.
When I showed the wedding photos I took at CUHK to my wife Xandra, she always complained that I should had taken the wedding photos of our own wedding….
This shot was taken by Esther. She did a great job finding the details of the Chapel. The Depth of Field was handled very well as well

The weather is so bad today, we have rain & thunderstorm. I should have an assignment today, but this is the 3rd time we have to cancel the engagement shooting of Roma & Calvin because of bad weather. It is really frustrating !!!
This week is a very busy week, I suppose to complete the retouch of 4 sets of photos and I am working 18 hr a day to finish them all.
Just took a break & browsed through the photos I took on the Sunday one week ago with Xandra at Plover Cove Reservoir. The weather was nice that day and the landscape was interesting … ..
The last time I went to Plover Cove Reservoir was the engagement shooting of Emily & Paul back in last Nov. The view was so different this time and the water became very shallow that we can walk to the other side of the reservoir. (All photos ‘re taken by my Casio 850 DC, I love this DC, the battery seems to last forever … …)
