I am so happy to have Salome & Kaiser to be my last wedding in 2006. I liked their style so much & everyone was very nice.
The wedding was very relaxed - no bridal pickup game & Chinese ritual at all. We had a lot of free time walking around the chapel of Breakthrough Centre. "Unfailing Love" was the song they used during the ceremony, this was the first time I heard this song, and it was really good.

Since I first met Florence back in April, I was looking forward to her wedding on 27 Dec at Catholic Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, I already knew her wedding would be a special one. It ’s not because of how big the venue or how nice of the decoration is, instead, I saw a big involvement of their families, especially Mr. Tsui (Florence’s father) & Mrs Leung (Thomas ‘ mother). I had 3 or 4 meetings, numerous phone calls & emails with them to discuss the wedding. They ‘re always very excited about the wedding of Florence & Thomas & they are very proud of it.

It’ s a pleasure I can be part of this wedding.

Rebecca & Kevin had their wedding at  道風山 on 23 Dec. Rebecca is a very quiet person, but she couldn’t stop crying throughout the whole ceremony.

While Kevin is a Christian, Rebecca hasn’t believed in Jesus yet. Therefore, everyone in church gave them blessings that Kevin can bring her to Jesus one day. And that ’s why I came up the idea of the following shot after the ceremony. This is not a candid shot, but a creative portrait. I asked them to hold the hands and walk towards the cross.

This is really sweet. Anthony had secretly made a "楊枝甘露" dessert for Christine and he even taped the whole process into a video. To give Christine a big surprise, the video was shown in the banquet suddenly, and Anthony appeared suddenly with the "楊枝甘露" from outside.

Anthony, you are the MAN !!!!

People always said it is not good to take photo outdoor when you have sun overhead, however, if you know how to use it, it can be very creative. After the tea ceremony at Anthony ’s family, we had some free time and I asked them if they like to take some photos at the roof of the building. The harsh sunlight gave us a very dramatic effect.

It was a rainy day for the wedding of Rizzo & Carry, but it didn’t stop them enjoying the day. I had heard that before, "there was no good or bad weather, but we only had different kinds of weather". In fact, I found that the weather yesterday drove me additional creativity …. ….

I had a lot of fun shooting the post wedding photos of Carla & Hong yesterday. When we started at Shing Mum, Carla was a little bit shy & still not very comfortable in front of the camera.  With a little warm up, they just forgot my existence very soon. And the landscape of Shing Mum was so beautiful that I believe they really enjoyed it very much.

When we arrived at Shek O beach in the afternoon, all of us became very crazy & the atmosphere was so good.

Yesterday ’s photos definitely recall a lot of good memories & fun moments.

We helped Katherine & Matthew prepared their march - in slideshow for their wedding on Dec 9 & learned that they ’re together since high schools ( 1988), but their passion didn’t reduced. They always try to give some surprises to each other.

First , Matthew ‘ did the  proposal in a "摩天輪" when they ‘re traveling in UK. I think no girl can reject the proposal at this moment.
Then, the March - in slideshow is not a common one, they included their bungy-jump video. They did the jump TOGETHER & it was so meaningful to celebrate their wedding.  This was not the end, they gave a big surprise to all  their guests that they had their wedding  dance suddenly in their banquet, no one knew about it, not even their bridesmaids and best-men.  This was one of the best dance I had ever seen. They must have practiced it for a very long time.

Finally, Katherine gave a big surprise to Matthew. She prepared a 15 min video herself & included all the friends & families of Matthew in it & said "happy birthday" to him (yes, Dec 9 is Matthew ‘ birthday as well).

Hi Katherine & Matthew, both of you ‘re wonderful and so were your friends & families, the atmosphere ‘re so good throughout the whole day. There ‘re so many moments that filled up all my memory cards (I shot over 30 G of RAW files) !!!!!!

I am not kidding, this ’s one of the best First Dance I have ever seen

Anita & Almon already had their pre-wedding & wedding day photos taken, after talked to her, we came out the idea of this Post-Wedding photo session.

The shooting was in Dec 2006. The day was wonderful & we got one of the best weather in all my past outdoor photo sessions.4

The wedding of Unique & Andy was held at the Gold Coast Hotel. The weather was so good that we had blue sky during the ceremony.

After the ceremony, Andy sang a song ("never let you go") to Unique in front of all the guests.

I always love to take this kind of close-up shot to show the beautiful face of the brides.

I loved the wedding of Elsa & Joseph.

Joseph ’s a very gentle husband, he gave a big surprise to Elsa during the banquet. He hide behind and suddenly started to play guitar and sang the song "Love me Tender" to Elsa.

I always love to ask my clients about their love story & how they met each other. The story of Joanna & Gordon is amazing.

They told me me that they met each other when they ‘re studying (or playing) in kinder-garden & both of them can still remember the scene of which they played together. Long story short, they studied in different high school & university aboard & when they came back to HK and met each other again in an alumni gathering , they started a new love story. It is really unbelievable !!!

(Story update on Feb 9) I met them again this week and ask them to reconfirm if the story is true. Not only is the story 100% true, Joanna told me she can still remember Gordon gave her a kiss when they played a game in the kinder-garden … …

Hi Joanna & Gordon, both of you are wonderful on the photo day, and I am already looking forward to your wedding in Sept 2007. This photo was taken at peak tram station on Baker Road. The light was wonderful that day.
