This was a very exciting photo session — vivian and km brought me to some of the places that I never been to before, so you ‘re going to see some pre-wedding photos very different from what I ‘ve shown you before.
hand in hand, walked in the countryside under the warm sunlight … … what a beautiful day. sometime they whispered, sometime they played and laughed. Really enjoy following two lovers walking around.
Date: Dec 13, 07
yes, as there is a new place, let’s have a quiz and guess where the locations are — if you know the answer, please leave your guess in the comment section
When we arrived there, I found it quite difficult for photos at first. It ’s in the middle of the day, we had direct sunlight overhead, not many area in shade. Need to adapt a little to change the way I shoot

I promised to upload the day 2 of fiona and sing fung today. As we already had all the Chinese rituals on the 1st day, the rundown on dec 8 was not very tight. we didn’t start taking photo until 1000 in the morning. Then we went to the Stanley market for 1 hour photo session, followed by the wedding ceremony at the St. Anne’s church.
Fiona had two teams of photographers on her wedding day — simonthephoto and kit faye. It was so nice to work with and meet other photographer in a wedding. Kit Faye ’s team was really awesome and I was also so amazed to see how he worked !!! Totally inspired !!!!
date: 8 dec, 2007
ceremony: St. Anne’s church, Stanley market
reception: mandarin oriental hong kong

this is day 1 of the wedding of fiona and sing fung. the rundown is simple: we had bridal pickup game, tea ceremony, then the whole wedding party went to the Central for photos session. After two days of engagement session, Sing Fung was so good in front of the camera now !!!!
wedding date: dec 2, 2007
make sure come back tomorrow, I ‘ll upload photos of their wedding ceremony (day 2) very soon.
this is magic. The photo was taken after the tea ceremony at Sing Fung ’s family, I asked them to stay at the tram station. While I was taking the photo, a bus (with wonderful color and graphics) passed very fast behind them that I could only had time to take just two photos.

Hi, I keep the promise to upload the "post wedding" photos of minako and sam today. Before the wedding, we planned to have an e-session, but it turned out that both mina and sam ’s schedule ‘re too tight that we couldn’t make it finally. Instead, just 4 days after their wedding, we had a "post wedding" session.
Can you feel the happiness of the newly wed?
date: 28 nov 2008
make up: polly of faces hk
my fav of the day - it ’s in the middle of the day, so we had a very harsh overhead sunlight. I asked mina to wave the veil and the sunlight made it very beautiful

both isabella and richard came from shanghai and had their wedding at Four Seasons Hotel in Hong Kong. Before the wedding day, I only had the chance to meet richard, but I couldn’t meet Isabella until the wedding day.
As a girl from Shanghai, I found Isabella very special compared to other brides here in Hong Kong. Most of the time, she ’s very quiet and look very elegant on the day, but sometime, she can be very very hot, especially when we had the night shooting in Central
Date: Nov 25, 2007
Ceremony and reception: Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong
Isabella looked perfect in Qi Pao. It ’s around 2300 in Central.

Hi All,
(this is a sticky post - stayed at the top of the blog for a while) We just finished the busy season from Jan - Mar and I am going to take a long, long vacation from April - June (more on this vacation later). This vacation is planned for a long time and I stopped taking any wedding job between april and june since 9 months ago. There will be only a few shootings which were confirmed long time ago. And I will try to clear all the backlogs in next few weeks.
Outlook of 2008 is very very strong, with over 90 shootings booked !!!! And most of the Chinese "good days" are engaged. If you are looking for wedding photography in Oct, Nov and Dec 2008 , please be informed that all weekends (except Oct 4, Oct 12. Nov 23, Dec 13 & 14) are already booked.
(updated: 29 April) I am sorry that I ‘ll stop meeting new client during my vacation in May (except those that had confirmed before), you can still contact and book me via email and telephone.
(updated: 15 May) thanks for all your support, booking for Nov 2008 is completely full, and I am sorry that I can’t take any new order for wedding and engagement shooing in Nov 2008.
(updated: 4 June) booking for Oct and Dec is 95% full now, if you have booked me an engagement session and plan to have the shooting later this year, I highly suggest you to confirm the shooting date as soon as possible.
(updated: 10 June) client meeting resumes after mid June, here is my meeting schedule

Still very tired … … Yesterday I shot the wedding of Winnie and Raymond. this is one of the most entertaining wedding I ‘ve ever attended. Will post some photos later this week.
Wake up very early this morning. Wow !!! just make it to see the beautiful sunrise!!!

When I thought it is going to be a beautiful day, I found my mobile phone got hang up, and I had to "hard reset" it. Oh, it took me two hours to recover everything from it.
the mobile just hang up at this screen, no matter what I did — remove battery, soft reset, it didn’t help

I love Jeff ’s works a lot. As he is one of the top ten wedding photographer in the world, I am always amazed at his Black & White works. If you love Black & White wedding photos, you can’t miss looking at his works
He was recently featured in the Canon Professional Network (the first wedding photographer to be featured), a must read article.
